Hmmm, well, it's worth a try.  What do you suppose the chances are of 
finding Apache, MySQL, Postgresql, and Caldav in the repositories? 
How's the compiling environment?  (Cross-compiler?  Tiny native?)

It's a funny story.  I got the urge to buy one, but didn't see any for 
sale cheap, either locally or online.  But I had a biz trip to Sandy 
Eggo, and their Craigslist had one listed for $26.  So I met this lady 
on a corner in downtown SD on her lunch break and gave her cash.  The 
device was new-in-box, apparently bought from Fry's (probably in a 
blowout sale).  I've heard that places are getting rid of them for as 
low as $10 or so.  I know you can buy one direct from Seagate (online) 
for $39.
