Hmm, so the Arduino folks just released the Uno, which includes a
USB-to-serial based on the ATmega8U2, which means somebody's written CDC
(serial class device) code for the U2 series. I don't know which the
AT90USB162 is most like (U4 or U2), but either way it looks like there's
existing code to talk to the various and sundry AVR USB sets.
Now if I can just manage to find [useful] CDC code for the NRF24LU1+...
