[dorkbotpdx-blabber] Red LEDs and little Li cells

What time frame did you see the LED Matrix in action?

Early last year I built and brought in a project that used a signage
type 8x8 matrix - of square red LEDs - in an Altoids tin. It scrolls
text, runs Langton's ant, binary clock etc - if that brings up any
associations. It runs off of 2 AAs.

Later Ward used a matrix of the same type to build a work of art and
posted it with the title: Txtzyme Sparkles on LED Matrix

Let me know if you want details about the part and how to drive it. I
do remember the pinout order is all jumbled up from what would be
expected for rows and columns.
