Also, most (all?) current e-mail readers allow you to auto filter mail. Perhaps we could just require people to add something to the subject line such as 'GroupOrder: '<br><br>then people who don't want to see it can just configure their e-mail client to move it to the trash.<br>

I can understand your concern, but on a similar note, I couldn't<br>
personally have cared less about the bike counting project. On the<br>
other hand, I've been checking each of the part orders -- it's of<br>
interest to me what sort of projects people are working on. For<br>
instance, laen started asking feurig (Don) whether he was working on<br>
ARM based stuff because of his request. This sort of thing is just as<br>
interesting to me as the bike counting stuff is to others.<br>

That said, we have been discussing alternatives to using the mailing<br>
list. I'm honestly going to miss having everything right here, but I<br>
can see why it's frustrating for some. It's like the commit messages I<br>
get on some development lists I'm on. For me, I usually just go review<br>
the logs every once in a while. For others, it's handy to have<br>
everything in one place.<br>
