Thanks you Golan and Jet and Eric of Brillobox for such a dorkbot style
welcome to Pittsburgh.  I wanted to mention two events that are likely
to interest the dorkbot community:

1) Intel Research in Pittsburgh is having their annual Open House this
Tue 3-6pm...public welcome as Intel shows off technology, robots, etc.

2) I'm co-organizing a DIY workshop at the annual ACM SIGCHI conference
next year.  The theme is around DIY making and building, its culture,
and its relevant to ubiquitous computing.  Unlike a typical workshop, we
decided to have submissions be in the form of an instructable.  More
details here.  Please consider making a submission to join us in Boston
in April.
