Our speaker will be Chico Macmurtrie, from amorphic robot works:

Chico acts as the Artistic Director of Amorphic Robot Works (ARW), a 
collective he founded in 1991, consisting of artists and engineers who 
help in the realization of his work. Since that time, his investigations 
have resulted in the creation of more than 250 mechanical sculptures 
that assume anthropomorphic and abstract forms.



About dorkbot pittsburgh

Dorkbot pittsburgh is a monthly salon and show-and-tell for artists, 
scientists, social engineers, and others doing strange things with 
electricity. dorkbot is open to the public and admission is free.

We meet upstairs at Brillobox, located at 4104 Penn Ave (at Main) in the 
Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA.   If you're taking the bus, 
your best bet is probably the 54C which has a stop at Liberty and Main, 
Brillobox is a few blocks to the northwest.

Brillobox is donating space and resources for the meeting, so consider 
staying after for drink or showing up before for an early dinner to 
thank them for their support.  (Brillobox is a non-smoking bar.)
