We really need some input from Chris V. or John P. about using either Nexus or a location at Uarts before we solidify a date when we can gather and talk about trying to get this thing off of the ground. I'm still open to gathering before Dec 20th if we think it would contribute to having a better gathering in late January. I suggest Tuesday the 13th at 7pm if something could be lined up, so if Chris or John could get back to me on that, I say gracias. I also spoke with Nick Cassaway (of Nexus) friday night, and he is interested. My jury is still out on whether I will make it to NY this Thursday for their dorkbot gathering. It depends on work schedule, but I'd like to know if anyone else from Philly plans on being there, so that we could connect. Feel free to email directly. FYI: In general any night except Tuesday is available at Nexus. Also, I work out in the suburbs and it's hard for me to get back into the city before 7-7:30 to open the gallery. So if we want to meet at Nexus we should make it around 7:30, not a Tuesday. Right now I'm thinking we should choose a date in January, particularly if John thinks we could also interest some students.
