[dorkbotsea-announce] Dorkbot Update

Hello Dorks!

First of all, I wanted to let you know that we will be having the November
Dorkbot on the 2nd Wednesday Nov 14.  Save the date!  More details to come.

Second of all, I wanted to let you know that we received over thirty art
proposals for our upcoming "Strange Things" exhibit, reviewed them in a jury
meeting, and sent out notices to accepted artists.  Special Thanks to Eric
and Laura, dorkbot overlords and co-curators for the exhibit, for organizing
the jury process!  We will be posting more information about the exhibit
shortly on our web site (and also special thanks to Eldan, our webmaster,
and Leo, who's designing the event graphics).

Now we are ready to start planning for our opening night party (sat dec 8).
If you are a DJ, a VJ, etc., and would be interested in participating,
please let me know.  Also we do have a little space dedicated for one night
only projects so if you have something please email me.  We'll also be
looking for a few volunteers to help with set up and take down (there'll be
a tent outside, a bar, etc.).

I can't tell you all how much I am looking forward to People Doing STRANGE
THINGS with electricity III!
