Introduction to Jitter
Cycling 74's Max is a graphical programming environment that allows users to
create custom multimedia software, using a visual toolkit of objects that
represent basic input, output, processing, analysis, and control functions.
MSP and Jitter respectively add capability for sound and video capture,
analysis, processing, and output.
Workshop Overview
Jitter is a matrix-processing add-on to Max/MSP. It can be used for video
processing, 3D graphics, sound synthesis, simulation and more. In this
introduction we'll look at all these applications of Jitter, and explore how
Jitter's matrix data structure enables them all. See how to build Jitter
patches that visualize audio, sonify video, and more.
Pre-requisites: An interest in learning and that you bring a friend.
