I noted that one production, Strange Magicks, is set in the mythical,
mystical town of Arkham, Mass. Other tales by Lovecraft also happen here,
and a strange folk tale claims that the town, along with a horrific
supernatural monster are now buried under the waters of the Quabbin
Reservoir. Folklore claims that it is not good to drink the water from this
reservoir which supplies the city of Boston. This may account for some of
the weirdness that emanates from beantown.
