The other basic parameter you need to specify is "how fast do they
need to wind up that 15' of cable?". You can always trade off speed
vs. force, by varying the size of the drum or using a pulley
arrangement. So the interesting motor parameter is the torque-times-
speed product, which comes out as watts or horsepower.
You could try cheapo electric screwdrivers. No limit switches, but
they are designed to be able to stall briefly without killing
themselves. You could sense the stall by looking at the back-emf, I
guess.
