Since Bill Beatty's been forwarding the UW surplus sale info, I
thought I'd forward this notice as well (it came across the freecycle-
seattle email list):

Subject: OFFERED: Lab equipment for home schoolers, mad scientists,
artists (Seattle Univ)
Are you a parent of a home schooler, a wannabe mad scientist, or still
thinking of an art project for Burning Man? The Seattle University
biology department did a spring clean and there are boxes and boxes of
equipment from the labs, some of it looks like it was never used. I
don't know what any of it is, so please don't email me. I just work in
Facilities and have to find a new home for it.
Photos of many of the items are here
[http://community.seattleu.edu/photos/surplus/default.aspx?ppage=2]
All of this lab equipment is FREE; the photo caption has the
word `FREE' in it when you put your cursor over it. You can come and
get this stuff during our Surplus Sale on Sat., April 7, 9am-2pm. All
of the other items you see on the web site are for sale. The one-story
beige storage building is on the corner of E. Columbia St. and 13th
Ave.; enter on 13th Ave.
