[dorkbotsea-blabber] Laserfingers Workshop This Saturday

Hello dorkbotters -

Those of you who attended the August dorkbot session may remember my  
laserfingers project: a pair of gloves, with a laser mounted on each  
finger. I have had a lot of fun playing with these, but even more fun  
teaching all my friends how to make them and seeing what they do with  
their own pair. This Saturday, I am going to hold a workshop session  
at my shop in Georgetown to show you how to make your own set of  
laserfingers, just in time for Burning Man.

The workshop will start at 2 PM on Saturday, the 18th, and should  
last about four hours. You do not need to know how to sew or solder  
(though those skills certainly would come in handy), and I will  
supply all the necessary tools. The fee is $60, which gets you all  
the supplies for a pair of laserfingers.

I have space and materials for 12 people, and some slots are already  
filled so respond quickly if you want in.
