I had not heard about that particular brand of paper yet, the brands favored
by the Synth DIY crowd are (in order of preference): Press-N-Peel by
Techniks (http://www.techniks.com),and the Pulsar Toner Transfer System
(http://www.pulsarprofx.com/PCB/a_Pages/4_Products/4a_Transfer_Paper/Transfe
r_paper.html). I haven't tried Press-n-peel yet but I hear it works great. I
have tried the Pulsar TTS and have not achieved satisfactory results yet (I
should bite the bullet and get the laminating machine).
I use the laser printer toner transfer approach that uses photo paper. The
original link is: http://www.fullnet.com/~tomg/gooteepc.htm. I even use this
for my production units since it's cheaper (and faster) than getting PCBs
manufactured for small product runs.
You do have to make sure there are no straggling fibers (as someone else
mentioned) but, if you do have some accidental bridges on the board, you can
fix them with an x-acto.

Heh, I suppose there is always something better than what you've got,..
Regardless of its exterior blemishes, so far I am quite happy with the
Weller,.. Well as long as it lasts ill be happy,..
On another note, has anyone tried this process?.. To me it looks to easy
to be true.

That particular paper seems a bit rare though, I have found it from one
source,.. Considering purchasing a pack to test, but thought id ask if
anyone has tried it first.
