What I heard was that the people who were going to be doing the  
Seattle franchise dropped out earlier this year, so TechShop won't be  
opening a Seattle location on their original schedule, but they're  
still planning to open one in 2009, I gather. At the time, they were  
casting about for a new franchisee/investor/whatever (I don't know  
how techshop is structured).
