In years past, I've seen pallets of cpu's go for a couple of hundred for the pallet. The auction has gotten more popular in the last couple of years, and consequently the average bids may have gone up since then. Depends what's on the pallet too, I suppose, but be careful that you don't overbid.

Anyone interesting in going in on a pallet of servers (rack-mount PCs)? I wouldn't mind having a few of these for projects but my wife would kill me if I brought home 40 of them. They don't have hard drives, but they have those for sale as well. I figure that between the missing and broken parts we'd probably be able to scrounge a number of serviceable machines.
Does anyone have experience w/the auction to know how much a pallet of PCs typically goes for? I've only bought single items in the past.
