Wanted to mention an upcoming performance by local performance group (of which I am a member) that may have dorkbot appeal.
This show will involve the multimeda awesomeness that Manifold always brings, but thanks to a gift from Zeo (the home sleep analysis tool that reads electrical activity in your brain), we will be incorporating realtime brainwave data into the performance.
Compos Mentis, Manifold Motion's newest concoction, is here! It opens next week, runs March 16-25 (F, Sa, Su), and it is not one to miss.
Conceived of by Keely Isaak Meehan and Nicole Sasala and performed by a stellar cast including Brynne Flidais, Monica Mata Gilliam and Jill Marissa, the show explores how we strive to understand, control, and cope with the mysteries of the human mind.
Featuring extraordinary new music composed by Paul Beaudry, the stunning video work of Leo Mayberry, and sculptural costuming by Christy Hirschman.
When: March 16 - 18 & 23-25, 2012; 8pm (7pm Sundays)
Where: Washington Hall, 153 14th Avenue, Seattle, WA
Tickets: Sliding Scale, $18 suggested. Available at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/224170
