[dorkbotsyd-blabber] Lean X cam

Well put and a nice summary of what the CMUcam is usually pitched at. I'm
curious as to whether the LeanXcam is capable of that sort of facial
recognition, or fast object detection, though. The only appilications that
seem to be built for it at the moment are simple stuff, a motion detector
looking at difference of frames, and a (rather nifty looking) barcode
reader, but nothing that works off topology, or other stuff.

The sensor is specced at up to 60Hz, but I strongly suspect that'll only be
for a small Region Of Interest (ROI), rather than the whole field of view.
It'll be interesting to see what applications people come up with.
