Hi folks,

After the last meeting I had mentioned Best Hong Kong to Doug and Solar
Richard as a source for LEDs. Here's their URL http://www.besthongkong.com/ 

 

I have gotten LEDs from them in their wholesale section (which maybe a
euphemism for surplus).

187> &products_id=187) That's 1000 white, 12000mcd, 20 degree LEDs for $60.
They are nice and bright and a good white light too.

 

Another friend/dorkbotter who needs very consistent illumination/quality
said this:

I've gotten LEDs from besthongkong before. Very cheap and I got them
quickly. Generally it seems to me that the quality is slightly lower than if
you got them directly from a manufacturer (I like Nichia), and you may have
a bit more unevenness in your batches, but for the price they have some
amazing deals.
