El trabajo reciente de Andrew Hieronymi se centra en las fronteras entre
juego y arte en entornos físicos. Actualmente es profesor de Diseño
Interactivo y Desarrollo de Juegos en el Savannah College of Art and Design
in Savannah, Georgia, USA.
*SELF-CONSCIOUS GAMING: EXPERIENCING NEW FORMS OF GAMEPLAY THROUGH BODILY
INTERACTION USING PHYSICAL COMPUTING.*

The experience of playing videogames, although using similar computer
technologies, differs fundamentally from the experience of interaction with
other forms of digital media. This presentation proposes to investigate the
potential of bodily interaction to reveal those difference by discussing
works offering users to experience core elements of gameplay through
interaction with physical installations. The presentation will describe
various projects of Hieronymi at different stages of completion.

BIO: Andrew Hieronymi´s recent work focuses on the boundaries between games
and art in physical environments. He is currently a professor of Interactive
Design and Game Development at the Savannah College of Art and Design in
Savannah, Georgia.

Martín Nadal es un mediocre programador que le gusta trabajar en el
desarrollo de instalaciones interactivas. No es nada talibán con el rollo
del software libre (piensa que hay cosas mas importantes como el tiempo de
uno mismo) pero lo considera algo positivo. Ha sido colaborador en los
últimos años en varios proyectos relacionados con arte y tecnología.
Interesado por la ilustración y la cinematografía, ha presentado sus
trabajos en Dorkbot Madrid y participa activamente en Medialab-Prado, donde
ha impartido diferentes talleres.
