Hi

It's great to see some subscribers to the mailing list!
Dorkbot Vancouver is not doing anything yet, but I wanted to share  
with you the http://artcamp.pbwiki.com/ that The Upgrade Vancouver  
and New Forms Festival are organizing this month. It would be great  
to see you guys there, it will be very interesting and similar to  
what a Dorkbot session is.

About Dorkbot Vancouver:
We'll probably have a meeting in October or November. I'm still  
looking for a place to host it, and people that want to share their  
work or ideas.Any project at any stage can be shared.
I have a couple of candidates in mind:

1. Danjel van Tijn
Danjel makes some awesome electronic music and he actually builds  
most of the machines he uses to make the music. You can hear some of  
it on his site http://www.intellijel.com

2. Phillip Beynon
I meat Phillip at one of the meeting s for the Vancouver Robotics Club
He has a couple of projects going on but I guess the most interesting  
project is the one he implanted in his hand. He has a radio-tag  
implanted deep into his right hand http://www.phillipbeynon.com/
