This isn't an answer, but I used Netbeans for awhile before I had a  
version of OSX that could run Jigloo.

 From what I recall, NetBeans is a bit more locked down in its GUI  
creation than Jigloo in that it doesn't (or maybe now didn't) do  
round-tripping with the code, which is really nice with Jigloo.   
(though there were other things about Matisse, particularly the  
GridBagLayout editor which were better)

My two cents, but I prefer Eclipse, though there are certain things  
that it would really be nice if you could clobber-proof.  (namely  
accidentally switching from src and bin output to one folder output  
and then getting your Subversion file hosed)
