[jsyn] if v18 osx10.3.7 is okay ?

even though finding some thread saying no good about portaudio v19 @ osx
my java experiment fever ran into jsyn again
and tested the very beginning TJ_Beep @ 10.3.7
and it worked beautifully with jsyn142_mac_osx_sdk

well 142 is v18 ... is this why things are okay?
if so ...mmm... i should just keep on going with this version?
what is that i won't be able to get advantage of?
