I guess that they were prepared for the old version and now don't work anymore. For example: http://homepage.mac.com/nicowald/SubtleSoft/VC.html Any idea of what is going on? Many thanks! I uninstalled JSynV144 and reinstalled JSynV142 and tried that Applet. It still fails. It looks like Nico Wald is referencing a class that is not in his JAR file. So I think the bug is in his Applet and not JSyn. I will remove the link to Nico's Applet until he fixes it. It fails to load, with: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: VirtualCembalo.Cembalo02.class So it is not a JSyn version problem Thanks Nick Didkovsky jsyn@music.columbia.edu wrote: > Hello, > I am having problems with several sites that do not recognize the JSyn > plug-in. > > I guess that they were prepared for the old version and now don't work > anymore. > > For example: > http://homepage.mac.com/nicowald/SubtleSoft/VC.html > > Any idea of what is going on? > > Many thanks! > > Javier Ruiz > > >> Hello, >> >> JSyn V144 has just been released. At a certain point I get a "too many tokens error message" with a choice to continue or abort. Is there a way to adjust memory or something so as to get around the problem? Thanks in advance! It has room for 4096 tokens. The old version only had room for 2048. 4096 is a lot of tokens. If people run out then it is typically because Synth objects are being created too often. If you are dynamically creating Synth objects then make sure you delete() them when done, or reuse them.
