Thanks for reporting this.

I uninstalled JSynV144 and reinstalled JSynV142 and tried that Applet. 
It still fails. It looks like Nico Wald is referencing a class that is 
not in his JAR file. So I think the bug is in his Applet and not JSyn.

I will remove the link to Nico's Applet until he fixes it.
