I'm on Mac. JJack works with Jack, which works with Linux and Mac. The JJack project is impressive in terms of a seamless way to add alternative mixers to JavaSound, just make sure jjack.jar is in your classpath and the JJack mixer appears as an option via JavaSound. Plus Jack gives to easy interaction with other audio software and devices. Plus you can use commandline args to autoconnect and set the number of channels, etc.

So you agree those pops could be an OS X JavaSound issue? If anyone else gets to confirm I'd be grateful.

Cheers,

Ollie
