CinePaint is used on feature films such as HARRY POTTER and THE LAST SAMURAI for dust-busting, retouching, etc. We're replacing our legacy GTK1-based code with a new architecture called Glasgow that uses FLTK. Scheduled for release the end of this year, CinePaint Glasgow a suite of image processing tools for filmmakers and photographers. Looking for C++ developers and other capable volunteers interested in the motion picture industry who'd like to join the team of a fun open source project. Elmer is a physical simulation software, now GPL'ed. http://www.csc.fi/elmer/ Elmer includes a mesh generation software. Could be useful in other projects. Also included is the visualization software, but many such simple visualization software are already available. I'm not sure can Elmer be used to generate fluid flows for animations. Scientific flows could be different from animation flows. Check also http://www.csc.fi/gopenmol/ which includes source code as well. gopenmol can generate blobby surfaces. Juhana
