Hi All,

I just found out about this list and it looks great!  

Since intros seem to be in order here, here is mine:

I am currently the Director of R&D (well, thats what my new business 
cards say anyway) at Arboretum Systems.  There I developed 
Hyperprism-PPC and various plugin incarnations (Hyperprism-MMP premiere 
format, Hyperprism-VST steinberg's VST format), the Ionizer, a 512 band 
realtime spectral dynamics tool, and the HyperEngine, a scaleable 
realtime DSP life support system for PowerMacs.

Before joining Arboretum I was a solid state physicist (but I'm 
recovered now) where I worked on simulating collisions between atoms 
and surfaces and trained realy big neural networks to do some pattern 
recognition tasks.

Current interests include alternative transforms for spectral 
extraction of audio signals and various other methods for general sonic 
abuse.
