Nord rom encryption?prlly not! Architecture possibilities.

Well, they DO have another "normal" micro in there,and they 
only seem to have ONE rom..and this rom is the one i changed
out that gave me the drums and the notch filters, so i 
decided it must have the OS for the micro that controls the 
knob movements and keyboard AND the routines for the dsp..
thats what kind of worries me: what IF they are using that
microprocessor to encrypt the rom as it passes THROUGH the 
micro to the dsps?? it could be, but i doubt it somewhat, 
since it seems like a total pain in the rear to configure
it like that, but you never know. I also think it would take
up processor time unnecesarily. It could be unreadable too.
i can only give it a try.. :))
