The Australasian Computer Music Association (previously the Australian
Computer Music Association) is an association of composers, performers,
researchers and educators from New Zealand and Australia.  The conference
offers ACMA members and other like minded people the chance to gather and
share their work with others. The conference welcomes and encourages
national and international contributors and attendees. The focus of the
conference will be on the diversity of activities within the Australasian
electroacoustic community however international contributions are most
welcome. The conference will be held at the Canberra School of Music and
organised by the Australian Centre for the Arts and Technology.

Selection of works will be by review panel and submissions are sought in
the following categories:

MUSIC SUBMISSIONS

Music submissions can be in the following formats:

Tape Music - Submissions in this category should be on DAT or CD.

Live Works or Installations - submissions in this category should take the
form of a project proposal for a new or existing work. Proposals should
provide a clear outline of the technology and staging requirements.  It is
assumed that contributors will provide their own equipment in this
category. A recording of the proposed work/performance should be supplied
if available.

Works for instruments and tape/computer - Full score, tape (DAT or CD) and
recording of entire work (if available). Please note that there are no
funds  available for performers or ensembles; composers wishing to present
works in this category will have to organise their own performers.

For all music submissions please include a concise program note and biography.

PAPER SUBMISSION

Papers should be no longer than 8 pages and take no longer than 20 minutes
to deliver. Previous conference papers have maintained a broad range of
topics associated computer music and music technology. There is no specific
theme for the conference other than the diverse range of activities in the
area and papers encompassing technical,  pedagogical, artistic and
philosophical aspects of computer music are welcomed

Prospective authors should provide an abstract of no more than 200 words.
Email abstracts to Tim.Kreger at anu.edu.au and put PAPER ABSTRACT in the
subject field or send abstract to the following address:
