Hi!
No I don't think so. It is good for control applications though.
Get a TMS320C55x for fixed-point. But if you can afford it, I
highly recommend the TMS320C6701 EVM. This is quite a powerful
DSP! It has about 8MB of memory and 16-bit stereo 48khz codec.
