[music-dsp] wandering ripples filter idea

Hey all, you know how a high-order butterworth/ chebyshev filter has a bunch
of ripples in its frequency specturm?  I was wondering what it would sound
like to make those ripples somehow wander while keeping the cutoff the same.
Is there anything out there that does this already?
