[music-dsp] sample rate

The absolute best SRC I have found so far is the one used in Cool Edit Pro
1.2a. It laughs at Wavelab (which does an extremely bad SRC)

I need to implement a fast CD->DAT quality sample rate converter (44.1->48
kHz) in a C++ class
I know that this particular Fin/Fout ratio makes the problem difficult.
I have looked at various audio editors, and steinberg wavelab seems to be
very fast and reliable at the job
does anibody know what kind of algorithm engine they have under their
....(bandlimited interpolation, poliphase filtering....)
