I'm a keyboardist, but have been interested in guitars for a long time.
Have played with Pod and J-Station, and IMO both of them sound very good.
My impression is that the Pod nails a "real" amplifier better than the
J-Station, though the J-Station is quite good at what it does.
You get a few more effects with the J-Station, reverb and such, plus the
J-Station has a few bass amp and bass speaker models. In case you want to
occasionally play electric bass thru the box, it would avoid buying a Pod
and also a Bass Pod.
But the Pod seems a more "faithful" emulation than J-Station.
