Come on Jon. He asked a high level question and I gave I high level answer.

I am well aware of the aliasing problems but I gave the OP enough to go away 
and experiment with. Sooner or later he/she would have come back and said
that the square wave sounds horrible. Thats the right time to deal with 
aliasing.
