anyone hear of a program that constantly samples sound going into a
soundcard ----only stores the most recent 5-60 seconds in a little buffer,
and lets you save that buffer to disk when you hear something good! I
would love something like this for my audio collage work.

I suppose I could possibly record everything I hear, to store huge samples
with a standard wave editor, but that seems gauche.

well if this exists, I'd love to see it, let me know. especially if it's
for the PC. (sorr dont have a mac) I ask because I just heard the coolest
sample: "mlitary personal, who are already tracked closely by the gov't."

thanks,
-N
