[music-dsp] forward/backward filtering

Hi

I had an idea on how to mess up the phase response without changing the 
frequency response: First I filtered the signal and then I applied the 
inverse filter in the backward direction.

But - to my surprise, nothing happened! The signal was unchanged. So is it 
my code that's messed up or am I wrong in theory?
