I recall from my guitar lessons that "Days of the New" used a C# tuning on
their guitar parts (we used The Shelf in the Room for a finger-picking
lesson).  That, combined with (IMO) the unconventionally intricate acoustic
guitar parts for their genre, gave them a unique sound that lured me to
them.  The band split up and 2 members (IIRC) picked up a new lead singer
and formed Tantric.  The lead singer of Days of the New, Travis Meeks,
continued work in his own direction.  It was around that time that I started
listening primarily to electronic music and I've since lost touch with where
they've each gone, but I would say that it definitely supports what
=?X-UNKNOWN?Q?T=F3th_L=E1szl=F3?=, or the person he quoted, had said. ;-)
