[music-dsp] speech synthesis

Hi, I played with simple speech synthesis using formant filters last night, ie I can create vovel sounds and morph between them. I founds some tables with freqcuencies & amplitudes of the different vowels for male female etc, but no complete table, do you know where I can find one? (preferably with as many formants as possible). 

But vowel isn't enough for speech, I don't know how to generate consonants, I guess it is some kind of enveloped noise. any ideas?
