Thanks again to all who cared to answer. I found It!    hehe  :-)
My delay line wasn't properly synchronized with the interpolator and that's
what caused the jumps.
Without your good advice I surely would have spent much
longer searching for the nonexistent secret of those cryptic symbols.
And now it sounds so smoooooth ---
