There is a classical algo.... ( i guess)... dont know
if it is very right too.....

you take the audio signal and separate it in 4 or 3
bands.... and give each band a diferent amount of
delay......
(2 things)
1) the filters have to be linear phase.... so when you
mix the signal again it dont sound diferent
2) Depending of the delay time... it can cancel phase
and make it sound worst......
