I'm also thinking about getting an Ion. Can you tell me a bit more about
the re-programmability thing please, or point me in the right direction?

the moog use a resistor set up to induce this as well...

glad to see another dsp programmer keeping a eye on the ION... ;-)

did you catch my note from Alesis that said it can be re-programmed via
update very easy too...
