I'm not completely sure but AFAIK the time inversion trick works only with 
the linear sine sweep excitation signal, not with MLS. For a linear sine 
sweep the inverse filter is the same sweep time inverted. For the MLS 
excitation signal you must use either proper deconvolution or the fast 
Hadamard transform (which I don't know exactly what it is or how it works 
but I'm sure it is used with MLS because it is really fast and relying on 
some specific properties of the MLS signal provides the same exact result 
of a proper deconvolution).
