[music-dsp] mix parameters by example?

Greetings!

Does anybody know of any previous work or implementations that try to
transfer or resynthesize, on new multitrack inputs, the "album effect"
of a mix or mastered recording? Maybe by estimating parameters of
compressors, gains, eqs, etc?

I can swear that I've seen the idea before but can't remember from where...
