  I remember the ARM2 on the Archimedes! Always thought it was the way 
everything was heading - back in the 80's!
Only about 45 instructions, yet powerful enough to have 16 usable registers, 
and multiply two different registers and add another and put the result into 
yet another register - all in one instruction - great fun.
