Hi net improvisors and all -
You are invited to participate in a Soundmesh RTcmix improvisation May
30, 2005 between 6:00 and 7:30 pm. The new version of the Soundmesh
application will have better algorithmic options, graphical control,
and does live input. The new version will be online in a couple of
weeks. The Live Electronic Music class from (ccm)2 will be
participating, including about 15 composers and performers. I would
like to have a more complex distribution of hosts this time, and map
out ahead of time sound maps and acoustic instruments involved. You
must be on Internet2 and using OSX or Linux to participate.
I'd also like to create recordings of the sessions from different
locations for later multichannel listening.
Let me know if you are interested, if you prefer stereo or multichannel
sound, approximately how many machines/IPs you would have online at a
time, and if you are using OSX or Linux.
Please forward this to anyone interested.
