David Brahinsky (guitar and vocals), Guy DeRosa (harmonicas), Phil McCauliffe (acoustic and electric bass) and Bill Leech (electric guitar) devote the evening to the blues—traditional, contemporary, Dylanesque, Cohenesque...and funky too.

As befits our 25th anniversary celebration year, the Roosevelt String Band, with David Brahinsky, Paul Prestopino, Ed Cedar, Sam Cedar, Kai Altair and Joe Pepitone (and we hope to have Howie Jacobson back from South Africa in time) will perform one song from as many of the 25 years that the String Band been performing in Roosevelt as can reasonably fit in.
Saturday & Sunday, May 4 & 5
Beginning at 11 AM on Saturday morning May 4 and running through Sunday afternoon May 5, the Roosevelt Arts Project will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a weekend-long series of events. All the events will take place in or around Roosevelt Public School except for the Sunday afternoon piano recital at 15 Pine Drive in Roosevelt. Events are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Ben Johnson's video documentary on the Jersey Homesteads (which became Roosevelt) will play continuously in one of the school classrooms. And in another classroom you will have the opportunity to tell your favorite Roosevelt story to Sheila Linz on video.
