rtcmix~   --   beta
v. 1.399 -- June/July 2006
  Macintosh (OSX) Directions
1. Download and unpack the following two archives:
2. The first will unpack to a single "RTcmix/" folder. Put this somewhere
on your Max search path. I recommend putting it in
/Library/Application Support/Cycling '74/
or
/Library/Application Support/Cycling '74/externals/
NOTE: Be sure to remove any existing "RTcmix/" folders or [rtcmix~]
objects from the search path.
Move the entire "RTcmix/" folder
intact -- do not take the [rtcmix~] object out of the folder.
3. The second archive will unpack to an "RTcmix-help/" folder. Open
the rtcmix~.help patch located inside that folder. It should then
say "rtcmix~ -- RTcmix music language, v. 1.399" in the Max window.
Try out the patches and hopefully they will all work happily!
  Windows (XP) Directions
1. Download and unpack one of the following two archives:
2. This should leave a folder, "rtcmix~_wmax_1.399/" containing the following items:
- the rtcmix~.mxe Max/MSP external object
- a subfolder, RTcmix-help/
3. Double-click on the rtcmix~.mxe external (it may appear only as
rtcmix~ if you aren't seeing the filename extensions), and Max should start
with the [rtcmix~] object loaded; you should see
"rtcmix~ -- RTcmix music language, v. 1.399" in the Max window.
NOTE: Be sure to remove any existing rtcmix~.mxe externals
from your Max search path.
4. From Max, open the rtcmix~.help patch located inside the
RTcmix-help/ folder (it also may appear only as rtcmix~
because of not seeing filename extensions -- be sure you are opening the
help patch!).
Try out the patches and hopefully they will all work happily!
