BeatyBeatyBeaty is a software based instrument
for the live, improvised creation of rhythmically and harmonically complex
music. It presents a multi-track graphical interface, onto which
the performer draws probability curves representing various aspects of
the sound to be created (temporal events, frequency and amplitude, panning,
etc.) The results of the performer's actions are heard and seen instantly,
allowing the intuitive development of performance techniques.
