Ken's Mistake is a computer music miniature. It was composed in the autumn of 1995 specifically for submission to the 1996 ICMC (International Computer Music Conference) in Hong Kong, where it was premiered in September, 1996. The source material for the piece was a mass of sounds that erupted from my studio speakers one afternoon when my friend Ken inadvertantly pressed the "wrong" button.
